Curved Triple Glazing

Creek Cabin is a unique house near Southwold, Suffolk, which required a bespoke glazing solution. The GreenSteps Scandinavian Slimline timber/aluminium triple glazed system was chosen to provide the crisp, modern appearance. The project contains a number of special features, including a 4 metre tall curved triple glazed feature window, Signal Yellow coloured opening sashes and special installation detailing to allow completely hidden upper frames in the clerestory glazing. The result is a huge amount of light, a dramatic appearance and exceptional thermal insulation. The glazing system’s thermal performance and airtightness helps to deliver the Passivhaus standard design of the building.

Project Description

Creek Cabin is a dramatic self-build project. A truly unique house and a ‘grand design’ in its own right. GreenSteps worked closely with the architects from an early stage in the design process. We loved being the window and door suppliers and watching the project become a reality.
